Katharizo (Cleanse) essential oil blend supports the body’s natural ability to rid itself of unwanted toxins and supports the healthy cleansing and filtering functions of the liver, kidneys, colon, lungs, and skin. This powerful blend combines Grapefruit, Rosemary, Geranium, Clove Bud, Lemon, Tangerine, Lime, and Juniper Berry, which are all known for their detoxifying properties and ability to support healthy liver function, while Tangerine and Geranium have purifying effects against unhealthy substances. Katharizo (Cleanse) helps cleanse the body of toxins and free radicals that can slow the body’s systems down, leaving a heavy, weighted feeling and pores that feel grimy and clogged.

Essential Oils included in this blend are:

Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) – Grapefruit is effective for adrenal gland stimulation, lymphatic cleansing, and kidney cleansing.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) – Rosemary is also a powerful antioxidant, and it is effective for disorders that are endocrine based such as chronic fatigue (stress related) and diabetes.

Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) – Geranium is a great essential oil to help balance the hormones, support the pancreas, improve kidney and liver functioning, and get rid of liver toxins.

Clove Bud (Eugenia caryophyllus) – Clove has been found to be beneficial as an antioxidant, because it contains eugenol. Historically, clove has been used to treat endocrine disorders.

Lemon (Citrus limonum) – Lemon oil has the ability to stimulate the white corpuscles which defend the body. It has the ability to counteract acidity in the body. It is a very good general tonic to the circulatory system and digestive system, including the liver and the pancreas.

Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) – It fine tunes metabolic functions such as decomposition of food and absorption of nutrients by toning up the liver, stomach and intestines. It also helps in growth and adds to strength; ensures proper excretion; promotes secretions of the endocrine system and also tones up the nervous system to keep you more alert and active.  Purifies the blood and boosts the immune system to protect you from infections.

• Tangerine has been found to be even more effective when used in a synergistic combination with other citrus oils.

Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)  – Lime essential oil tones up muscles, tissues and skin as well as the various systems that function in the body, including the respiratory, circulatory, nervous, digestive and excretory systems.

Juniper Berry (Juniperus Communis) – Juniper oil is also considered a tonic, because it tones up everything, including the muscles, tissues, skin, and various other systems functioning inside the body. This includes the respiratory, circulatory, nervous, digestive and excretory systems.  It cleans the blood of toxins and thus acts as a blood purifier. It helps to remove the common toxins like uric acid, heavy metals, pollutants and certain compounds and hormones produced by the body itself. It empties the blood of these common toxins as well as other foreign material which get into the blood accidentally.

Common uses for Katharizo:

Caution: Possible skin sensitivity. If you apply to your skin do not let the area be exposed to sunlight for at least 12 hours. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
