Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil Uses
Cedarwood oil is known to be an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including acne, anxiety, arthritis, dandruff, and eczema. Cedarwood oil is also effective in treating respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and congestion. It is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties and is known to boost the immune system and provides relief from cold and flu symptoms.

Clear the lungs with these respiratory supportive oils, they work great in a nasal inhaler, diffuser, or mix with a 1/2 cup of Epsom salts for a decongesting and body ache relieving bath soak!
- 5 drops Cedarwood Himalayan (Cedrus deodara)
- 5 drops Eucalyptus (any variety)
- 5 drops Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
This makes a great blend for getting some support for sleeping. Add these drops to a room diffuser next to the bed.

Non-toxic, non-sensitizing. Some sources advise to avoid Cedarwood during pregnancy, however there is no research to support this claim regarding this particular species of cedarwood. Tisserand and Young do not indicate any special precautions when using Virginian Cedarwood Oil. Reading Tisserand and Young’s full profile is recommended.
